Until then, the old EN 60079-11:2012 remains valid. After that, non-compliant devices will lose their ATEX conformity.

- Electrical components that were certified after 2012 but remain without transition to 2024 will lose their ATEX presumption effect upon the expiration of the transition period.
- Check technical documentation: Certificates and manuals must indicate the current version of the standard.
