“Helping is strong” - this is the motto under which the Johanniter, together with the popular hand puppets Jona and Joni, teach children of nursery and primary school age what to do in an emergency. Supported by an interactive coloring, play and work book, an app and supplementary materials, first aid is taught in a child-friendly, playful and sustainable way.
We at ATEX-shop.de have supported this project financially - and quite deliberately.
Responsibility begins earlier than many think
The aim of the initiative is clear: children aged five to eleven should be made aware of dangers at an early age and taught first aid skills. The book teaches them how to recognize emergency situations, help and keep a cool head in a fun way. Interactive AR content and an app with educational videos encourage motivation and deepen understanding - with visible learning success.
For us as a company in the field of explosion protection, this is more than just a social project. It is an investment in the safety culture of tomorrow. Because anyone who learns to take responsibility at an early age will also act prudently and safely in their day-to-day work - whether in the warehouse, in production or in hazardous areas.
From daycare centers to industrial buildings: safety awareness is not inherited - it is learned
In our working environments, every move counts. Prevention, awareness and safe handling are crucial - especially in potentially explosive areas. The foundation for this is not laid during safety training, but often much earlier: in childhood.
It was therefore a matter of course for us to support the “First aiders of tomorrow” project. We are helping to provide children in the Viersen district with free teaching kits - including posters, books and an app.
Working together for greater safety - from an early age
A safe environment is not created by technology alone, but by people who know what they are doing. That's why we not only promote protective products - but also the next generation of first responders.
